Mariachi at Brightleaf SquareBrightleaf Square will be hosting two concerts on Friday, May 2. One of them will be a lunchtime concert, featuring Alternative/Folk band Midtown Dickens from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. The second concert of the day will take place from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and will showcase mariachi band Los Galleros de Mexico.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration at the NC State Fairgrounds
Yes, it's on the "Once de Mayo" but why not stretch out the party for a couple of weeks?
This celebration features a Mexican-style rodeo, six bands and lots of vendors. Admission is $20 for adults and free for kids under 12. Rand Grandstand, NC State Fairgrounds.
