Triangle Segway is the only authorized Segway dealer in the Raleigh-Durham area. It is owned and operated by husband and wife team Todd and Sandy Masinter, and opened its doors in March, 2008.

The Masinters relocated to Raleigh from Irvine, CA, and they are eager to play their part in shaping Raleigh's fast-growing downtown neighborhoods by providing residents with a place to buy eco-friendly alternative transportation.

Segways are battery-powered personal transporters that travel at speeds up to 12.5 miles per hour, and can go up 24 miles on a single battery charge (the batteries can be recharged by plugging the Segway into a regular power outlet).

Triangle Segway sells several different models of Segway, including the i2 (MSRP $5,350) and the x2 (MSRP 5,850). Triangle Segway also sells Segway accessories, provides Segway service and hosts corporate team building events.

The shop is centrally-located in downtown Raleigh's historic City Market, which allows the business to offer another service to the community: guided Segway tours of downtown Raleigh's landmarks. Triangle Segway offer tours every day of the week except for Mondays, and the tours are an excellent way to become more familiar with Segways and with downtown Raleigh.

To learn more about Segways or about Segway tours of downtown Raleigh, call Triangle Segway at (919) 828-1988. Triangle Segway is located at 327 Blake Street, right across from Big Ed's Restaurant.
